iOS Version

1. After logging in, tap the **Settings(**⚙️ **icon)** at the bottom-left.
2. In the menu, go to Backup & Restore > Data Backup > **Backup.**
3. Select the textbook you wish to back up.
   • If you tap a folder, all files within that folder are selected.
   • If any annotations or reference links connect multiple files (e.g., document-to-document or document-to-note), you must back them up together to avoid breaking the links.
4. Choose where to save your backup.
   • When transferring to an iOS device, we recommend using AirDrop or the Files app.
   • You cannot transfer via messaging apps. Instead, please use Cloud storage (Google Drive, iCloud Drive) or AirDrop.
5. After selecting the destination, go to the location where the backup file is stored. Tap the Export button, then choose the “Studymini The Note” app icon.
6. Once you return to the app, go to Restore > Data restore > **Restore**.
7. Choose the backup file, designate your desired location in the Minishelf, and the restore process will be completed.

Android Version

4. Select the textbook you wish to back up.

   • If any annotations or reference links connect multiple files, you must back them all up simultaneously to avoid breaking the links.

5. Choose where to save your backup.

   • When transferring to an Android device, we recommend using Quick Share, Nearby Share, or Bluetooth.

6. After saving the backup file and moving it to your chosen location, press “Restore.”

   • For example, if you used Quick Share to download the file, its path might look like:

     **My Files** > **Internal Storage** (or **External Storage**) > **Download** > **Quick Share**

7. Choose the location in the Minishelf to restore, and you’re done.
